What inspired me to create this website comes from an over 40-year fascination with Track and Field History and Statistics. As a freshman athlete at Delano High School in California in 1981, I was introduced to The Delano HS Track and Field All-Time List compilation by Coach Dale Standifer, a legendary head track and field coach at Delano HS from 1969-1984. Coach Standifer accumulated accurate stats compiled by previous coaches at the school as early as 1921. Today, I am honored to have continued this tradition as head track and field coach at Delano HS from 2009-2016 and 2020 forward.
